An association of local businesses and neighborhood partners working to build a vibrant and prosperous village center for the benefit of the whole community.

Our Association

The Woodstock Community Business Association (WCBA) is a nonprofit association of local businesses working in partnership with commercial property owners, neighborhood associations, the farmers market and other local entities to build a vibrant and prosperous commercial district that benefits the whole community. The association is run by a volunteer board made up of WCBA members and neighborhood representatives.

Our Partners

WCBA works closely with the Woodstock Farmers Market, the Woodstock Neighborhood Association and Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood Association, and the Woodstock Stakeholders Group (commercial property owners) to retain the qualities that attract residents and visitors to Woodstock, while finding ways to enhance the neighborhood for those who live here!

Our Neighborhood

The Woodstock Business District overlaps two large residential neighborhoods—Woodstock and Brentwood-Darlington—and also serves nearby Reed Neighborhood, home to internationally renowned Reed College. The district has a small town feel despite being part of a large metropolitan area. The main commercial “village” spans a dozen or so blocks of SE Woodstock Blvd. east of SE Cesar Chavez Blvd., with satellite businesses clustered further east on Woodstock and on SE 52nd Ave. north and south of Woodstock Blvd.

One of Portland’s truly “20-minute neighborhoods,” the Woodstock Business District contains a complete selection of essential goods and services within walking distance for many local residents. The district boasts two grocery stores, a large variety store, a hardware store, dental and other health services, a veterinarian, a branch of Multnomah County Library, a community center, multiple salons, a bike shop, and a good selection of eateries, coffee shops and drinking establishments, along with a number of service businesses.
