Get involved with WCBA

The Woodstock Community Business Association (WCBA) is an all-volunteer, community-based membership association open to everyone doing business in the Woodstock and Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood business districts. Whether you are a sole proprietor working at home, the owner of a small company, or a representative of a large commercial enterprise, we welcome you as a member.

Your dues and volunteer involvement help make the following possible:

  • Woodstock Gives Back (annual district-wide charity event)

  • Regular garbage and overflow pickup (thanks to City Sanitary!)

  • Monthly business mixers (suspended in 2020-21 due to Covid-19)

  • Uplifting the district through public art and pocket park projects

  • Landscape maintenance of street trees and median strips (currently largely handled by Dieringer Properties and the Woodstock Stakeholders Group), maintenance of WCBA-owned planters on Woodstock Blvd.

  • Coordination of annual neighborhood cleanup events (suspended in 2020–21 due to Covid-19)

  • Twice-monthly e-newsletter for businesses

  • District promotion and boosting via social media and print advertising

Business sponsorships help Woodstock thrive!

Being a financial sponsor of special events and activities in the Woodstock Business District is a great way to gain name recognition in the neighborhood while helping the district thrive. The Woodstock Community Business Association offers several categories of sponsorship:

  • WOODSTOCK GIVES BACK Sponsorships help underwrite production and advertising costs of our district’s great signature event, held annually in September.

  • MAINTENANCE Sponsorships fund ongoing upkeep of our districts main streets, SE Woodstock Blvd and SE 52nd Ave — landscaping, garbage pickup, and maintenance of common spaces — including the community cleanup event held annually in early June.

  • WCBA MIXER Sponsorships facilitate the monthly socials that give WCBA members a chance to relax and network with each other, building relationships that will help our small business district grow and thrive.

We welcome your involvement!

The Woodstock Community Business Association relies on members’ contributions of time as well as money. Volunteer opportunities include serving on the board, assisting with social media, organizing events, coordinating joint marketing campaigns, and getting involved in neighborhood projects. Please use the contact form to connect and let us know about your skills and interests.
